BRIDGE customizes tours to meet the needs and ambitions of different groups. Some may want to have more physically challenging experiences like staying in homestays and exploring nature sites. Some will want to stay in hotels, like Chance's Hotel, and eat western foods. Others will want to explore the culture by participating in drumming and dance performances, and eating Ghanaian dishes. Having the Peace Corps experience behind us, we are able to effectively balance group ambitions with experiences that will create meaningful tours for all. Most tours will begin with a visit to the historical Slave Trade Castles along the coast before venturing into the countryside. Some of our other destinations include Adaklu Mountain, Wli Waterfalls, Kakum National Park, and Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary. BRIDGE's founder helped develop ecotourism sites in Ghana during Peace Corps service, and so many of the sites we visit are well acquainted with BRIDGE. |
