Youth Scholarship Fund

The Youth Scholarship Fund was created to give the best students in rural villages that do not have a high school an opportunity to attain higher education. The scholarship winners are chosen through an essay competition administered by local schools. The objective of the competition is to encourage and motivate students, and increase access to education. The Scholarship Fund is administered by the Adaklu Youth and Education Committee (AYEC), which is dedicated to increased access to educational and vocational opportunities for Adaklu youth.

BRIDGE's present goal is to expand the Scholarship program by providing scholarships to 45 students in nine scommunities. The estimated cost for each of the scholarships is $500.
